I am writing to you from lovely St. George, Utah. It is sunny and warm here.

It has been a crazy, exciting year. The best thing yet has been that one week ago today, Alan asked me to marry him. I said yes!

No plans yet but we will let you all know. I know I have not called every single family member yet but you will hear from me soon.

What is with the horns?

I am in Washington, D.C. and it is interesting but I miss the quiet of the 'country' so to speak. I miss being able to drive 10 minutes and get to a parking space within 10 seconds of my destination. That being said... I have seen and learned so much since we arrived.

The conference (DrupalCon), the museums, and the sites have been overwhelming.

I am heading out again. I am behind on Facebook and email so just know that I am thinking of all of you. Especially Jen L in Salem... We have a plan to check out the wineries and maybe some flower farms so we will set some dates and swing by to get you!
